Talk About Teaching: See Dates below for the 2018/2019 Workshops
Note that Talk About Teaching takes place on Mondays from 10am-12pm at Jordan Kitts, 8500 Lee Highway, Fairfax, VA 22031 on the following dates:
- Thursday, November 15, 2018–Trends in Piano Teaching-Sight-reading: How to Strengthen Skills
- Tuesday, January 15, 2019–Trends in Piano Teaching-Repertoire: Piano Duet Literature and Rehearsal
- Tuesday, Mar. 12, 2019–Trends in Piano Teaching-Rhythm & Pulse: Grouping and the Rhythmic Phrase
- Monday, May 13, 2019–Trends in Piano Teaching-Summer Projects and Programs
The topics listed above provide a starting point for discussion and all areas of interest are fair game. All teachers in the DC, VA and MD area are welcome; there is no fee. Bring ideas, solutions, questions & answers. This forum is a wonderful way for us to continuously learn from each other.
