Adult Student Rehearsal Workshops–February
Adult Student Rehearsal Workshops–February
DETAILS In a friendly and welcoming environment, we talk about our pieces, perform for a warm and supportive audience, and learn how we can develop our playing through constructive suggestions. We also enjoy each others’ company, support each others’ journeys, and have fun! These are open REHEARSALS, not recitals. We expect to hear pieces that are “in progress” in addition to those that are more “complete.” We welcome interested and serious students to share even brief sections of pieces. We want to hear, share, and celebrate the process of students’ learning and incremental progress. Application Requirements Workshops are held select Sundays of most months. Choose which workshops to attend: we welcome students to attend just one class, or a handful, or all classes. To register, send an email to ahorowit@yahoo.com. There is no fee. Register any time up until the Wednesday before the workshop. Email Deadline The Wednesday prior to each workshop. Because space is limited, registration may close earlier than this deadline if the workshop is full. Eligibility In order to enter NTMVA student events, either the teacher or student must live in Northern Virginia, or, the lessons must be taught in Northern Virginia. The class is primarily for adults. Sometimes, youth ages 16-17 can participate. Please email ahorowit@yahoo.com for questions about eligibility.
