“What I wish I’d Known Before. . .”

Nancy O’Neill Breth joined NVMTA in 1982. Like most musicians of her generation, she was trained as a performer, not a teacher. She earned her “pedagogy degree” by studying the habits, ideas, students, teaching materials and business plans of her many gifted colleagues in this area. It didn’t happen overnight, though; it took many years. So this Talk About Teaching session, “What I Wish I’d Known Before,” is her attempt to help other teachers get there sooner!
