2022-2023 Performance Information

Students chosen from among NVMTA’s Concerto competition winners will perform with the Amadeus Orchestra on May 14, 2023, 4 pm at Saint Luke’s Church, 7001 Georgetown Pike, McLean, VA.

This year’s program will mark our third collaboration with director Scott Wood and the Amadeus Orchestra.  Students are notified a few weeks after the final competition and given information regarding rehearsal(s) and the performance.

2022 Concerto Winners Experience

On April 24, 2022, six young musicians performed with the Amadeus Orchestra in a wonderful concert. These talented students were selected from among more than 120 participants in the NVMTA Concerto Competitions for piano, woodwinds, and strings. The program included concertos by Beethoven, Copland, Rachmaninoff, Saint-Saëns, Tchaikovsky, and Von Weber.
