NVMTA’s mission: to stimulate the study and enjoyment of music, to broaden the vision and expertise of its members, to promote musical culture in the community, and to reinforce the objectives of its state and national organizations.

NVMTA requests your financial support to continue offering the many musical events and opportunities for young people in the Northern Virginia communities. Specifically this year, we are raising funds for updating the scheduling system for our events and to support orchestral opportunities for our concerto winners.

NVMTA offers 35 annual events which include recitals, festivals, competitions, opportunities to perform with an orchestra, continuing education for teachers, and professional development grants, as well as award money to student winners of piano, string, woodwind, and voice competitions totaling over $10,000.  In 2019, NVMTA received over 2000 registrants for its events.

Your donations in any amount will help provide these opportunities!

Thank you to our donors!  We appreciate your support!
